We had a great time at Bobs NCIS saturday we only had 6 racers with xmas and wedding we were a few short but the racing was intense and fun
First lets all thank Bob for opening his home and tracks and his amazing collection to us
everyone showed up early and practice started early and fast with the new slip on tire rule the fast laps were ther same but race pace was just a few laps less than sticky tires were last year every one seems to be adapting to the slip-on pretty well
during practice a few were having shoe issues some were just worn thin from all the laps these car run i reshoed 4 crs for the races and adjust some ( man i neeed to start doing that after the race is you will see later LOL)
first up was SOUTHERN SPORTSMAN CARS Chris and lewis set the early pace putting up some fast laps all the cars were fast but wrecks and carnage too a few of us out of the lead win the time ran out chris and kevin were about 6 feet apart with chris taking the win way to run dude
next up was SOUTHERN MUSCLE echorr/fray style cars
this class came to us a few years ago and now it rivals the sportsman cars the racing stays close the pace has picked up the are 9-12-14 tooth cars competing the long 27 ft straights need 12 tooth the tight corners you need a 9 so theyare even by the time you get back to the finish line
Lewis jumped out to a lead after first lane then kevin put down some fast laps but way over in the corner was skylar knock down lap not wrecking stay very quiet and when the race was over he had got by kevin and was chasing down lewis grats to Lewis on the win
